Devil Monkeys are seen all around the United States of America - from New Hampshire to Alaska. These primates are typically described as looking like monkeys but standing 5 feet tall and having pointed ears. They are sometimes reported as having kangaroo-like legs and jumping instead of walking. The first report of a Devil Monkey was in the 1950s and took place in Saltville, Virginia. A couple driving down the road reported a large creature chasing after their car and upon catching up with them, leaving long claw marks in the side of the vehicle.

Wampus Beasts are large panther/cat-like creatures with glowing eyes. They are sighted in Pleasants County, West Virginia. As there are no official well known sightings, there are a lot in Pleasants County. One of the people from the AIMS team on the Mountain Monsters show saw it when he was 9 years old. His parents told him to get something from the farm late at night. He went out and saw a Black Panther like creature with glowing eyes that gave him an eerie feeling.
The creature gave a weird high-pitch hissing like sound, which frightened him back inside his house. Many years later, on his same farm, he had the same kind of encounter with the beast, exactly like the encounter he had as a 9 year old. Another encounter around the same area happened when a lady was driving a school bus late at night and a creature that was black and large leaped out of the woods in front of the bus.
The Wampus Beast is also known as the Wampus Cat.
Folklore says that it was a witch late at night that turned herself into a unusual cat-like creature.
It is rumored to stay in sewers in the day and have a repulsive stench.
Another rumor of it is that it kidnapped children.
Do not fear death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light, but if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity…
It’s ironic.
When I worked in fast food for minimum wage, they would yell at us and lecture us about “stealing” fries and burgers (while we had to throw out TONS of food every day) as though the giant billion-dollar corporations of McDonald’s and Sonic couldn’t afford to give their employees something to eat (while not even paying us a living wage).
Now I work at an upscale restaurant (it’s fancy, like celebrities eat there fairly often) and not only do I make WAY better money but they give us 2 free meals a day (eaten on the clock) and they’re GOOD. Today I got baked cod, spring rolls, rice pilaf, stir fry, and mashed potatoes and eggplant. Oh, and free espresso and juice. From this restaurant owned by a local man who is in no way a billionaire.
Obviously money is not the issue, valuing your employees as people is.
This needs all of the reblogs. All of them.

“The World we all share is given to us in trust. Every choice we make regarding the earth, air, and water around us should be made with the objective of preserving it for all generations to come." ~ August A. Bush III
How to Beat Your Fears
1. First, acknowledge your fear. This is a huge first step. If you do just this today, you’ve done something great. Many of us have these fears, but they are at the back of our mind, unnoticed, unacknowledged, as we try to ignore them and pretend they’re not there. But they are there. And they affect us. So acknowledge the fear.
2. Write it down. What’s your fear? Write it on a piece of paper. Writing it down takes the fear from the dark lurking places in the back of your mind, where it has power over you, out into the light of day, where you have power over the fear.
3. Feel the fear. Recognize that you’re not alone, that we ALL have these fears. There’s nothing wrong with having this fear. Allow yourself to feel it. It’s a part of you, but it doesn’t control you. Remember you can “feel the fear and do it anyway.”
4. Ask yourself: what’s the worst thing that can happen? Often it’s not as bad as we think. Do you fear being rejected by someone? What would happen if you were? You’d lick your wounds, you’d find someone else, and you’d go on living.
5. Just do it. To beat the fear, you have to just do it. Ignore your fears and just go for it!
6. Be in the moment. Fear of failure (and other similar fears) are fears of the future. We get caught up in worrying about what might happen. When you find yourself thinking about the past or future, bring yourself back in the moment and focus on what you’re doing right at this moment.
7. Small steps. Start small. Do something you know you can do. Allow yourself to feel good about that - and then take another small baby step. Keep doing this …
8. Celebrate every success! Make a note of every single thing you do right, even the smallest little thing. Use this feeling of success to propel yourself forward and take the next step. Then keep building on each previous success ….

Most of the people mourning Toys'r'us closing likely remember it from their childhood and haven’t set foot in one in 10 years.
Were it not for Steve Harvey, most of us would not have even known the Miss Universe pageant took place yesterday.
And how many really care any more?
